At Rod Tempero, we manufacture and restore exciting and desirable road registered cars of the 50’s and 60’s era.
These beautiful vehicles are hand-built, with every aspect to the original specification, using techniques and tooling handed down over three generations of motor bodybuilders.
We continue to produce these exciting cars today and currently have some very desirable projects underway, including rare restorations.

Despite the book at our B&B listing you as an Oamaru highlight, we were nervous as we approached your garage to just drop in, but right away you all made us feel welcome. We had really enjoyed the transit and motorcycle museums in Invercargill, but to see what you do was much more exciting.
So, I hope we didn’t take up too much of your time. We just wanted to thank you again for opening your doors to us and sharing your family’s generations of work creating cars.
